Highlands Farmhouse presents a refined interpretation of contemporary country living, where architecture, interiors and the surrounding landscape come together as one cohesive experience. Designed in collaboration with Wellard Architects, the home draws on familiar rural forms while giving them a more contemporary expression. Vaulted gable rooflines, generous functional spaces and expansive glazing create a strong connection to the landscape, bringing natural light and views deep into the interior.
Across the bathrooms, Faucet Strommen’s Pegasi and Zero collections in Antique Brass Light introduce warmth and continuity throughout the home. The soft brass finish sits naturally alongside the project’s restrained material palette, while the combination of two collections allows each space to develop its own character without losing a sense of cohesion.
The result is a home that balances the practical requirements of rural living with a distinctly elevated architectural language — understated, enduring and connected to place.
