Overview

The Pot Filler: Elevating Luxury and Efficiency in the Australian Kitchen

Once exclusive to professional environments, the pot filler has become the ultimate statement of luxury and efficiency in the contemporary Australian kitchen. Mounted directly on the splashback above your cooktop, this ingenious fixture eliminates the strain of carrying heavy, water-filled pots from the sink to the stove, saving you time and effort when preparing large meals.

As Australian-made producers of the finest tapware, we craft our pot filler taps to provide seamless integration with your existing Faucet Strommen tapware and accessories. Our commitment to design and engineering ensures that this unique addition will be both a striking visual feature and a high-performance cooking tool for decades to come.

Engineering for Convenience

Dual Shut-Off Valves – Every Faucet Strommen pot filler incorporates dual shut-off valves. One valve is located at the wall connection, with a secondary valve positioned at the end of the swing arm. This dual mechanism provides an extra layer of safety, allowing you to stop water flow directly at the spout – essential for preventing leaks and drips over your cooktop and splashback.

Double Swing Arm with Extended Reach – Our pot filler taps feature a highly articulated double swing arm with an extended reach of up to 584mm from the wall, ensuring the spout can comfortably cover all burners on even the widest commercial-style ranges or induction cooktops. When not in use, the arm folds neatly back to the wall, maintaining a streamlined, uncluttered look above the stove.

Finish and Style

The pot filler is a highly visible piece of tapware that should complement your kitchen’s overall design. Faucet Strommen makes coordination simple by offering pot filler taps in the same comprehensive range of finishes as our sink mixers, allowing for complete design harmony.

Matte Black – A bold, contemporary contrast against light cabinetry or tiles.

Brushed Nickel and Chrome – A subtle, timeless choice that suits most modern and transitional kitchens.

Brushed Gold and Brass – Adds warmth and high-end luxury, making the pot filler a true feature piece.

Our pot fillers are available across the Pegasi, Cascade, Zeos, and Zero collections, ensuring the finer details, from handle style to arm shape, perfectly match your chosen kitchen aesthetic.

Installation and Water Supply

Cold Only Supply – Faucet Strommen pot filler taps are designed to connect to the cold water supply only. Cold water is recommended for cooking purposes as it is generally considered fresher.

Australian Standards – Designed and engineered in Australia, our pot fillers adhere to all necessary local plumbing standards. WELS rating is generally not required for cold-only, non-mixing fittings.

Placement – The ideal installation height is approximately 300mm to 350mm above the cooking surface, allowing sufficient clearance for your largest stockpot to fit comfortably underneath.
