Above-Counter Basins – Also known as vessel basins, above-counter basins sit on top of the vanity bench rather than recessing into it, creating a bold, sculptural statement. When specifying an above-counter basin, spout height and reach are critical — our tall basin mixer range is designed specifically to provide the necessary clearance for above-counter installations.
Inset and Under-Counter Basins – Set into or beneath the vanity bench for a clean, seamless benchtop line. Inset basins suit both contemporary and transitional bathrooms and are the most practical choice for high-use family bathrooms and ensuites. Compatible with our standard basin mixer range across all collections.
Wall-Hung Basins – Mounted directly to the wall without a vanity unit beneath, wall-hung basins create an open, airy aesthetic and make small bathrooms feel significantly larger. Ideal when paired with our wall mixer tap range for a fully hardware-free bench surface.
Freestanding Basins – A dramatic alternative to the conventional vanity. Freestanding basins stand independently on the floor as architectural objects in their own right, suited to larger bathrooms where the basin is intended to be a design feature.

Choosing the Right Basin
Selecting the right basin involves more than aesthetics. Consider the following when specifying:
Tap Hole Configuration – Some basins come with pre-drilled tap holes for a hob-mounted mixer or three-piece tapware set. Others are designed for wall-mounted tapware only. Always confirm tap hole configuration before selecting your basin mixer.
