After their clients purchased a dated home on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Bone Made were invited to transform the home into a warm, uplifting sanctuary for their growing family.
Inspired by the coastal outlook, the interiors were reimagined with a refined approach that balances an understated aesthetic with sophisticated design.
A palette of Nordic-toned timber, Venetian plaster, and natural stone establish a calm, cohesive foundation. In collaboration with architect John Deuchrass, they introduced a minimalist staircase, sculptural curves, and carefully considered lighting to enhance the flow of space and light throughout the home.
The open-plan kitchen, living, and dining area centres around a striking Aida marble island, complemented by custom cabinetry, Japanese ceramic tiles, and softly layered textures. Curved architectural elements, arched doors, and bespoke furnishings create warmth and continuity.
The bathroom maintains a refined simplicity. Tumbled limestone adds soft warmth, with fluted glass bringing linear detailing, shifting light. Aida marble complements warm-white microcement cabinets, and hints of colour emerge in the subtle sage green wall lights, and Pegasi Brushed New Nickel tapware.
