Torrent is a brand new collection of linear strip drains by Faucet Strommen. Australian Made with a 40 year warranty, these drains which have patent pending technology set the benchmark in craftmanship, quality and design. Torrent strip drains are customisable in length, waste size and waste position, and we can offer them in all 20 Faucet Strommen colour finishes for a complete architectural solution.

CHANNEL
The main body channel (i.e. all water-carrying parts) is made exclusively from 316 grade stainless steel which has proven to be one of the best materials for floor installations and long-term exposure to water. End caps are attached to the outside of the body channel to create a clean inside without areas for water to pool or accumulate. There are no penetrations through the base or side of the body channel, reducing the likelihood of corrosion and obviating possible leakage.
PIONEERING DESIGN
The engineers have solved industry challenges with an entirely new concept of manufacture. The patent pending technology uses solid naval grade brass or 316 stainless profiles and a modular design to create a flexible configuration to meet the demands of architectural bathrooms.
CUSTOMISABLE LENGTHS
Torrent drains are available in any custom length from 600mm up to 1800mm! For all drains longer than 1200mm, they come with 2 drop in tile trays to make for easier installation and maintenance and a more rigid element. A clever spacing system ensures that trays fit snugly into the channel and are perfectly aligned and spaced for a clean, architectural result.
CUSTOMISABLE WASTE POSITION
For custom series Torrent drains, the waste position can be specified (L-R position) and DN80 and DN50 have the ability to be ordered with a forwards/backwards offset on outlet position.
CUSTOMISABLE WASTE SIZE
Torrent drains are available in standard and custom configurations. Tough and practical wastes come pre-fitted to Torrent drains. Standard models come with DN80 or DN100 waste options and customised models come with DN100, DN80 and DN50 waste outlet options.
ALL FINISHES
The smart design using modular trim extrusions allows us to offer all 20 Faucet Strommen finishes with Torrent drains. This includes DMF finishes, Switzrok colours and even our brass organic finishes.
DEBRIS GUARD
A debris guard is supplied with all Torrent wastes. This stainless grate drops into the outlet cavity and can help to prevent debris or small personal belongings, e.g jewellery from being lost down the waste.
