Supporting safe, dignified and secure housing through meaningful community partnerships.
Faucet Strommen is proud to announce its partnership with Tiny Homes Foundation, an Australian charity dedicated to addressing homelessness by creating safe, secure and affordable housing for people in need.
Through this partnership, Faucet Strommen is contributing both a financial donation and the supply of tapware for a number of Tiny Homes Foundation projects, supporting the development of homes that offer more than just shelter — they provide the foundations for a fresh start.
Tiny Homes Foundation CEO David Wooldridge said:
“Whilst our homes are small we endeavour to build them to a very high standard and the ability to be able to utilise tapware of the highest quality not only enhances the utility for the home occupants but also reduces the maintenance requirements.”
Creating Homes with Purpose
The first project will see Faucet Strommen supply tapware for four fully self-contained, 35-square-metre homes as part of a Core and Cluster development. These homes will provide accommodation for women aged over 55 who are experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness.
The Core and Cluster model brings together independent living spaces with access to shared support services, helping residents maintain their independence while having the opportunity to connect with the support they need.
For older women facing homelessness, access to safe, stable and appropriate housing can make a profound difference. By contributing to these homes, Faucet Strommen is proud to play a small but meaningful role in helping create spaces where residents can feel secure, comfortable and at home.
Supporting Emergency Accommodation
In addition to the four self-contained homes, Faucet Strommen will also supply tapware for five emergency pods, helping Tiny Homes Foundation expand its capacity to provide accommodation for people in urgent need.
These pods form another important part of the broader response to homelessness, offering a practical approach to providing safe accommodation for people who may otherwise have nowhere to turn.
By contributing quality tapware to both long-term housing and emergency accommodation projects, Faucet Strommen is helping ensure that the essential details of a home are not overlooked.
A Shared Commitment to Better Living
At Faucet Strommen, we believe that good design and quality products have a place beyond the traditional home. We recognise that creating meaningful change takes collaboration, and that businesses can make a positive contribution by supporting organisations working directly with people who need it most.
Our partnership with Tiny Homes Foundation reflects a shared commitment to improving living conditions and supporting more sustainable housing outcomes for vulnerable members of the community.
While tapware is just one element of a home, it is part of the everyday functionality and comfort that help make a space liveable. We are proud to contribute our products and financial support to a project with such an important purpose.
Duncan Sellars, Managing Director, Faucet Strommen said:
“Everyone deserves a home that is safe, dignified and built to last. We design and make our tapware in regional Victoria to perform every day for decades, so it’s a natural fit for homes where reliability matters most. We’re proud to support Tiny Homes Foundation’s work and the women who will call these homes their own.”
Looking Ahead
Faucet Strommen is honoured to support Tiny Homes Foundation in its work to address homelessness in Australia. Through this initial project and the supply of products for additional emergency accommodation, we hope to contribute to practical solutions that help people access safe, secure and dignified housing.
We look forward to seeing these homes take shape and to continuing our support for initiatives that make a genuine difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
Because everyone deserves a place to call home.
