Raw Polished Brass

This organic finish is raw brass polished shiny showing the various tones, and will patina.

Humidity, air salt content, moisture and natural oils from the skin are some factors that will initiate tarnishing. As our products are hand crafted, you might notice finger prints and other tarnish marks shown on these raw products even though they were sent out spotless. Tarnishing can progress quickly on these raw finish products. Tarnishing will never be even or consistent, so spots and lines might appear, and discoloration might occur. This is the beauty of this raw, living finish.

Due to the organic nature and the different brass compositions, there will be variation between components and within components even when new. For instance, a spout might look different to a mixer handle, and there might be variation within a mixer handle. All these products will continue to evolve and “give back in different ways”.
